About me

I currently work as a youth pastor at New Life Church in Yorktown, VA.

I love to read, and need to work on my writing. For about three and a half years, I worked at the The Bergen Record of Hackensack, NJ. During those last two years (2002-2004), I was a sportswriter specializing in high school sports. The most well-known events I covered were the World Archery Championships, The WNBA All-Star Game, the U.S. Open (tennis), and a Mets press conference when they announced the signing of Mike Cameron.

My favorite sports to watch are baseball and college basketball, with football a distant third. I am a registered Republican, and proud of it. But often times, I get frustrated with certain things the party does.

During my childhood, I wanted to be one of four things: a lawyer, sportscaster, rock star, and preacher. God has called me to the last vocation on that list.
